My 2020 Movie Rankings

In 2019, I had a good number of movies I was passionate about and which I’ve watched multiple times since. But there are only a couple such movies from 2020. Nevertheless, there were still some quality movies released!

My Top 30 Movies of 2019

There’s almost nothing movie fans love more than making lists, and honestly, maybe that’s one of the things I love so much about movies. I’ve always loved to rank things, whether it is movies, favorite baseball players, or memes. So with the decade coming to a close, it is the perfect time to do an annual retrospective on each year in the decade, finishing with 2019.

Ranking Quentin Tarantino

With the release of what could be Quentin Tarantino’s penultimate movie, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, it’s a good time to go back and rank his filmography. For this ranking, I’m only counting the movies that Tarantino directed himself. So films like True Romance or Grindhouse don’t count, but Death Proof does. Also, I took an Instagram poll, which decided that Kill Bill will be counted as two separate movies, as much as Tarantino himself may disagree. Obviously this is all my opinion, but my opinion is correct.

2018 Movie Rankings

I got to watch more movies this past year than I ever have before. Because of this, I started ranking them throughout the year. I didn’t get to see everything I wanted to, so this list is in a way incomplete. Though I did end up seeing 57 2018 releases.

For the last month and a half, I’ve gone through the filmography of my favorite director: Christopher Nolan. So since I’ve watched and thought about all of these movies in that time span, I thought it would only be fitting to rank them.
